Responsibilities

As a Guru Geografi SMA, your primary responsibility will be to teach geography to students in a secondary school setting. You will be expected to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to help them improve. Additionally, you will be required to participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school activities. Some of your key duties will include:

• Developing and teaching geography curricula to students in grades 9-12
• Creating and grading assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student understanding
• Providing individualized support to students who require extra help
• Collaborating with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary lesson plans
• Staying up-to-date with developments in the field of geography and incorporating new ideas and technologies into your teaching practice

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
