Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior cooks in preparing and portioning ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, mixers, ovens, and steamers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation by washing, chopping, and storing food items according to hygiene standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels of pantry staples, report shortages, and help restock supplies.
  • Support the plating and garnishing process to ensure dishes meet presentation guidelines.
  • Dispose of waste properly and adhere to food‑safety protocols to prevent cross‑contamination.
  • Collaborate with team members during peak service periods to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Participate in routine kitchen deep‑cleaning, equipment sanitization, and daily closing procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or an equivalent qualification.
  • Age limit: 25 years or younger at the time of application.
