Introduction

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Asisten Dapur (Kitchen Assistant) to join our fast‑growing catering operation. This role is ideal for a disciplined young woman who values teamwork, punctuality, and adherence to both culinary standards and cultural practices. The successful candidate will support the kitchen staff in preparing high‑quality meals, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring smooth service from the early morning shift through the end of the day.

Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and senior kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, portioning rice, sauces, and side dishes for daily catering orders.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as rice cookers, fryers, and chopping stations in accordance with hygiene standards.
  • Maintain an organized workstation, ensuring that all utensils and containers are properly stored after each use.
  • Monitor inventory levels of staples (rice, oil, spices) and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor for timely replenishment.
  • Support the plating and packaging process to meet strict delivery timelines, especially during peak breakfast and lunch periods.
  • Uphold strict food safety protocols, including proper hand‑washing, wearing of gloves, and regular sanitization of surfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow team members to coordinate workflow, especially when handling large catering orders for events.
  • Adhere to the company’s schedule, beginning work at 04:00 AM and continuing until all orders are completed, ensuring no downtime affects service quality.
  • Respect and observe the five daily prayers, integrating spiritual practices into the workday without compromising operational efficiency.
  • Refrain from personal phone use during working hours to maintain focus and productivity.

Requirements

  • Female candidates only; must be comfortable working in a female‑dominant environment.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: open to applicants up to 30 years old.
  • Demonstrated experience (or strong familiarity) with catering services or a warung nasi (local rice stall) environment.
  • Commitment to performing the five obligatory prayers (Shalat) each day.
  • Ability to start work at 04:00 AM and remain flexible until all tasks are finished.
  • Strong sense of loyalty, discipline, and compliance with company policies.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills; must be able to follow directions and assist others as needed.
  • Proficiency in operating basic kitchen equipment and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Reliability in avoiding personal phone usage while on duty.
