Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Supervisor Produksi to lead our manufacturing floor in a fast‑growing FMCG/chemical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring that output targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety (K3), and efficiency. This role demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a hands‑on approach to problem solving.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily and weekly production plans to meet demand forecasts.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes strictly adhere to SOPs, GMP guidelines, and K3 (occupational health and safety) regulations.
- Coordinate closely with PPIC (Production Planning & Inventory Control) and QC (Quality Control) departments to align material flow and product specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns or process deviations, minimizing downtime.
- Prepare comprehensive production reports that include output volume, reject rates, downtime analysis, and waste reduction metrics.
- Manage raw material inventory efficiently, implementing waste‑minimization strategies and optimizing material usage.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to improve cycle times, reduce 5S non‑conformities, and enhance overall plant productivity.
- Utilize ERP systems (preferably Odoo) to track production orders, labor hours, and material consumption.
- Maintain a safe working environment, conduct regular safety briefings, and ensure all team members are certified in K3 protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Maximum age: 35 years (flexible based on experience).
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Production Supervisor in FMCG, soap, detergent, or cleaning‑product manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of soap and detergent production processes, including batch mixing, formulation, and packaging.
- Strong command of GMP, 5R/5S, and K3 standards.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams under pressure.
- Advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, charting, and data analysis for production metrics.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to a 6‑day work week (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Preferred: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and ERP platforms such as Odoo.
- Preferred: Certified K3 safety professional.
