Introduction
Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a diligent and results‑driven Remedial Officer (Collection) for its Siak (Riau) branch. This role is essential to maintaining the health of the company’s loan portfolio by ensuring timely collection of overdue accounts receivable (A/R). The successful candidate will work closely with the credit, legal, and customer service teams to achieve collection targets while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end collection activities for overdue loans, ensuring all actions are completed within established timelines.
- Monitor and track A/R status daily, generating reports for senior management on collection performance and risk exposure.
- Conduct outbound calls, send reminder letters, and arrange face‑to‑face meetings with delinquent borrowers to negotiate repayment plans.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting team to understand loan terms, repayment schedules, and any restructuring options.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all collection interactions in the company’s CRM system.
- Identify patterns of default and provide actionable insights to improve credit risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Work with legal counsel when escalated cases require formal proceedings or asset seizure.
- Educate borrowers on the importance of timely repayment and assist them in budgeting to avoid future delinquencies.
- Support internal audits by supplying necessary documentation and demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in regular team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the collection department.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (associate or bachelor’s degree) in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or a related finance function (experience is a strong advantage but not mandatory).
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- Strong understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in using collection software, spreadsheets, and basic office applications.
