Responsibilities

  • Prepare, season, and plate a wide variety of menu items according to the restaurant’s exacting standards.
  • Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring all food handling complies with local health regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and fellow kitchen staff to coordinate daily production schedules and special event menus.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist in receiving deliveries, and ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste.
  • Participate in menu development, offering creative suggestions and testing new recipes that align with the restaurant’s five‑star reputation.
  • Execute shift duties, including opening and closing kitchen procedures, cleaning workstations, and equipment maintenance.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen assistants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and teamwork.
  • Adapt quickly to high‑volume service periods while maintaining consistency and quality of each dish.

Requirements

  • Gender: Female (Perempuan) – essential for this position.
  • Maximum age: 45 years.
  • Educational background: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in Culinary Arts (Tata Boga) is highly preferred.
  • Work experience: Prior experience in the culinary or food service industry, preferably within fine‑dining or upscale restaurant settings.
  • Core competencies: Strong cooking skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to follow standardized recipes.
  • Personal attributes: Hardworking, disciplined, responsible, honest, and professional in all interactions.
  • Soft skills: Excellent teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
