Introduction

We are seeking an enthusiastic Karyawan Grooming Hewan – Perawatan & Penataan to join our dynamic pet‑shop team. This role is perfect for individuals who love animals, enjoy hands‑on care, and take pride in delivering a clean and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, providing grooming services, maintaining workplace hygiene, and supporting daily operations while ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional grooming and basic health‑care procedures for a variety of companion animals, including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and coat styling.
• Maintain a spotless work area by regularly cleaning grooming stations, tools, and surrounding spaces to comply with health‑safety standards.
• Greet customers warmly, understand their pet’s specific needs, and offer appropriate service recommendations.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking grooming supplies, and ensuring that all equipment is functional and well‑maintained.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to coordinate appointments, manage walk‑in traffic, and support overall shop operations.
• Monitor animal behavior for signs of stress or illness, and promptly report any concerns to the shop manager or a licensed veterinarian.
• Document grooming details in the shop’s system, including services performed, products used, and any special instructions from pet owners.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with the latest grooming techniques, animal welfare practices, and customer service trends.
• Uphold the shop’s standards of honesty, discipline, responsibility, and punctuality in every task.

Requirements

• Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
• Age: Up to 30 years (maximum 0 years indicated as a placeholder; candidates should be within a typical working age range).
• Gender: Male (as specified by the employer).
• Basic or prior experience in animal grooming is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and coworkers.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle animals of varying sizes.
• No fear of, nor allergy to, animals.
• Personal qualities: diligent, honest, disciplined, and highly responsible.
