Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including regular stocking of bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with store guidelines while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Collaborate with floor staff to manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist with promotional displays.
Adhere to all health, safety, and security procedures, including proper handling of cash and sensitive customer data.
Assist in training new cashiers by sharing best practices and operational standards.
Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems confidently, troubleshooting minor technical issues when they arise.
Support store management in daily operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s staffing policy).
Strong desire to work seriously and consistently; reliability is essential.
Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to interact courteously with diverse customers.
Demonstrated discipline, punctuality, and a high sense of responsibility.
Ability to work under pressure, adhere to established rules, and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
Previous experience in a cashier or retail environment is considered a valuable plus.
Basic proficiency with cashier systems (POS) and familiarity with common accounting procedures.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting of light merchandise.
