Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Sales Motorist (ex‑FMCG) to join our dynamic distribution team covering the entire province of Kalimantan. The role is field‑based and perfect for candidates who enjoy meeting retailers, managing a route, and driving results in a fast‑moving consumer goods environment. The position is open to candidates who can align their domicile with the assigned area, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Visit and service a variety of retail outlets—including kiosks, kelontong, and warungs—according to the client‑provided criteria.
- Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio, with a particular focus on tobacco and other FMCG categories.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels at each outlet and ensure timely replenishment.
- Expand the coverage area by identifying and onboarding new retail partners, thereby increasing market penetration.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports, route logs, and stock status updates to the Team Leader.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate deliveries and resolve any distribution issues.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing retailer inquiries and handling complaints professionally.
- Monitor competitor activity in the field and report market insights to help shape promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational (SMK) graduate.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a motorist sales representative, sales TO, MD, or promoter—experience in tobacco retail is highly preferred.
- Valid motorbike (C‑class license) with up‑to‑date vehicle documents (SIM C, STNK).
- Willingness to work on the road from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Age not exceeding 40 years; gender‑neutral hiring policy.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with store owners.
- Good analytical mindset for sales analysis and reporting.
- Self‑discipline, time‑management, and a proactive attitude toward achieving targets.
- Residence must match the assigned deployment area in Kalimantan (candidates can confirm suitability via the provided contact number).
