Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Officer to join our growing team in Nanga Pinoh, Kalimantan. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence by promoting a diverse portfolio of products to both existing and new customers. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between our company and its distribution channels, ensuring smooth order processing, credit application handling, and post‑sale support. Responsibilities

  • Proactively present and sell the company’s product range to existing clients and prospect new customers across the Nanga Pinoh region.
  • Identify and secure orders through various distribution channels, including dealers, retailers, and direct B2C contacts.
  • Collect initial customer data, conduct thorough verification, and complete all necessary documentation for credit applications.
  • Monitor the progress of each credit application, liaise with the finance team, and communicate approval or rejection decisions promptly to dealers and customers.
  • Provide customers with clear information regarding payment due dates, payment locations, and any other essential transaction details.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order statuses using the company’s CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Attend regular training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay updated on industry trends and product innovations.
  • Represent the company at local trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (all fields of study accepted).
  • Age limit: up to 30 years old; however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales role; experience in B2C sales, credit processing, or distribution channels is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail; ability to work independently and persevere through challenges.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Proficiency in sales management tools, basic Microsoft Office applications, and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Strong orientation toward achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 16:00.
