Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a professional demeanor.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, answer menu‑related questions, and provide recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure that each dish is presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Monitor tables throughout service, anticipate guests’ needs, and respond swiftly to requests for refills, additional items, or special accommodations.
- Handle payment transactions, process credit card authorizations, and issue receipts while maintaining strict cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to guarantee smooth order flow and timely service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring dining spaces adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Upsell specials, promotions, and add‑on items to increase average check value and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints or concerns with empathy, resolve issues promptly, and escalate to management when necessary.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes, service techniques, and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to converse fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English.
- Friendly, courteous, and highly responsive attitude toward guests.
- Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including proper handling of allergens and dietary restrictions.
- Team‑player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues during peak service periods.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
