Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Task Force Penjualan (Canvas/Promotor) to join our dynamic sales team on the beautiful island of Samosir. In this field‑based role, you will be the face of our FMCG brand, building strong relationships with retail outlets, executing promotional programs, and gathering valuable market insights. Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and execute sales visits to designated retail outlets and distributors, ensuring coverage of all assigned routes.
  • Conduct regular outlet visits, presenting product ranges, negotiating shelf space, and driving order fulfillment.
  • Update and maintain accurate outlet data, reporting any changes in store status, competitor activity, or route adjustments to the team leader.
  • Implement promotional programs in‑store according to the brief, including product demonstrations, sampling, and point‑of‑sale material (POSM) placement.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints regarding product quality, escalating issues promptly to the team leader and ensuring swift follow‑up.
  • Prepare and manage product stock and promotional materials needed for each visit, aligning with sales targets and inventory controls.
  • Collect market intelligence—such as pricing trends, new product launches, and consumer preferences—and report findings to support strategic planning.
  • Complete all sales administration tasks, including order entry, daily activity logs, and compliance with company SOPs.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Maximum age: 35 years.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in FMCG sales or a related field; a minimum of 3 months of direct FMCG exposure is essential.
  • Male candidates only (as per the current hiring policy).
  • Valid motor vehicle (motorcycle) and an active SIM C driving licence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with retailers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, identify opportunities, and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently while meeting daily and weekly targets.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and order processing.
