Responsibilities

Process cash, credit, debit, and digital payments quickly and accurately.
Operate the POS terminal and related cash‑handling equipment with confidence.
Verify that the amount of cash in the drawer matches the recorded transactions at the beginning and end of each shift.
Issue receipts, provide correct change, and answer any payment‑related inquiries.
Greet customers courteously, address their questions about products, pricing, and promotions, and guide them to the appropriate departments when needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked checkout area, including regular tidying of countertops, signage, and promotional displays.
Perform end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation, prepare cash‑out reports, and hand over the cash drawer to the next shift or manager.
Collaborate with floor staff to ensure smooth flow of customers and minimize wait times.
Identify and report any discrepancies, technical issues with the POS, or potential security concerns promptly.
Assist in occasional inventory counts, price tag updates, and promotional setup as directed by the store manager.

Requirements

Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
Age: 18–28 years.
Gender: Open to all genders.
Prior cashier or retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Proficiency in operating POS systems, cash registers, and basic computer applications.
