Introduction

The Manajer Duty Operasional Harian is a pivotal role within our hospitality team, responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations across all guest‑facing areas. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this manager coordinates front‑office, housekeeping, food‑and‑beverage, and maintenance activities to deliver a seamless and memorable experience for every guest. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and ancillary services.
  • Monitor guest flow and ensure timely check‑in and check‑out processes while maintaining accuracy in reservations and billing.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly, turning challenges into opportunities for enhanced satisfaction.
  • Lead shift handovers, ensuring all relevant information, incidents, and tasks are clearly communicated to incoming staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house facilities to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate room service, banquet setups, and special event requirements.
  • Maintain inventory of operational supplies, oversee ordering processes, and control costs without compromising quality.
  • Coach and mentor front‑line staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare daily operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, conducting regular drills and audits as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar operational or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong command of English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrated guest‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of motivating diverse staff groups.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional night duties.
  • Professional appearance, disciplined conduct, and well‑groomed presentation.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Experience with hotel management software (PMS) and basic computer literacy.
