This role is essential in delivering high‑quality cleaning, ironing, and customer service to both individual and corporate clients. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the service desk, answering inquiries about pricing, turnaround times, and special garment care.
- Operate cash registers efficiently, process payments, and issue receipts while maintaining accurate daily sales records.
- Load, unload, and operate washing machines, dryers, and industrial steam irons, ensuring correct settings for fabric type and load size.
- Perform quality checks on cleaned garments, spotting stains or defects and re‑processing items when necessary.
- Fold, sort, and package laundry items neatly, preparing them for pickup or delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning of machines and workstations.
- Manage inventory of detergents, fabric softeners, and other consumables, and notify supervisors when stock levels are low.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of chemicals and safe operation of equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours and special events.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Female, Muslim, with a maximum age of 40 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in a laundry, dry‑cleaning, or hospitality environment.
- All educational levels are accepted; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating service charges.
- Proficiency in operating standard laundry machines, steam irons, and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
- Ability to work flexible hours as scheduled, with the potential for weekend or holiday shifts.
- Team‑player attitude, openness to training, and willingness to adopt new technologies.
