Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Promotion Representative (SPG) / Sales Promotion Boy (SPB) to join our team in Tanjung Pinang. This role focuses on promoting Hewlett‑Packard (HP) products within retail outlets, building lasting relationships with customers, and driving sales performance in a competitive market. The ideal candidate is a motivated self‑starter with a solid background in consumer electronics sales, a keen eye for market trends, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote HP laptops, printers, accessories, and related solutions inside assigned stores, ensuring brand visibility and product placement standards are met.
  • Engage customers with personalized product demonstrations, clearly explaining features, benefits, and usage scenarios to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with store staff and end‑users, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report stock shortages, and coordinate with the logistics team to guarantee product availability.
  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets by employing effective upselling and cross‑selling techniques.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback, market insights, and competitor activity to provide actionable recommendations to the regional sales manager.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity logs, sales reports, and promotional material inventory using the company’s CRM system.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on new HP product launches, sales strategies, and compliance policies.
  • Assist in setting up in‑store promotional displays, point‑of‑sale (POS) materials, and event activations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute localized campaigns that align with regional business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA) / Vocational High School (SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 20 – 28 years old, with a maximum of 28 years at the time of application.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in HP or similar consumer electronics sales.
  • Strong orientation toward achieving sales targets and meeting performance metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in using basic sales tools, mobile communication devices, and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexibility to work six days a week (Monday to Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and willingness to continuously learn about new HP product lines.
