We are a rapidly expanding tutoring centre (Bimbingan Belajar) based in Jakarta, currently operating 15 thriving branches across the city. To support this growth, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Guru Bimbel SD dan SMP who possess strong subject knowledge, a passion for teaching, and the ability to inspire young learners.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans for primary (SD) and junior high (SMP) mathematics, aligning with curriculum standards.
- Teach English language skills, focusing on reading comprehension, speaking confidence, and basic writing for students aged 6‑15.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback sessions, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions to address individual learning gaps and reinforce key concepts.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and branch managers to develop seasonal workshops, exam preparation courses, and enrichment activities.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson logs, and performance reports using the centre’s digital management system.
- Engage with parents during scheduled meetings to discuss student achievements, challenges, and recommended study plans.
- Participate in continuous professional development, including internal training, seminars, and peer‑review sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Mathematics, English, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven teaching experience in elementary or middle‑school settings.
- Fluent command of Bahasa Indonesia and strong proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
- Solid grasp of primary and junior high mathematics concepts, including arithmetic, geometry, and basic algebra.
- Demonstrated academic achievements or certifications that reflect subject‑matter expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with young learners.
- Flexibility to work the scheduled hours: Monday‑Friday, 13:00‑18:00.
