Introduction

Randuagung, a leading retailer in the everyday consumer goods sector, is seeking a dedicated Pramuniaga Penjualan (Sales Associate) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, driving sales growth, and representing the brand with professionalism. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, interacting with a diverse customer base from Monday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome customers, establishing a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
  • Provide accurate product information and demonstrate deep knowledge of the store’s merchandise, including new arrivals and promotional items.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products, employing up‑selling and cross‑selling techniques to increase average transaction value.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in a courteous and timely manner, maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: restock shelves, arrange displays, and ensure the store layout is tidy and inviting.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies to the store manager.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Handle high‑pressure situations, such as peak shopping hours or promotional events, while maintaining composure and quality service.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in retail sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Resilience under pressure and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with basic store management systems (e.g., inventory software, POS).

  • Flexibility to work the scheduled shift of 08:00 – 17:00, Monday through Saturday.
