Responsibilities

As a Pelayan Makanan, your primary duties will include:

• Taking orders and serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working condition
• Working effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the food service operation
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide accurate and informative responses to customer queries
• Processing transactions, handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accuracy with orders and payments

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability, working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and grooming, adhering to the company’s dress code and appearance standards.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Minimum education level of SMA/SMK/Sederajat
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Prior experience in a food service or hospitality environment is highly desirable, particularly in a cashier or food serving role
• A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a high level of discipline, punctuality, and integrity
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• For Muslim candidates, a commitment to performing daily prayers (sholat 5 waktu) is required
