Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Asisten Logistik (Logistics Assistant) to join our dynamic team in Denpasur. This entry‑level position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse and distribution network. The successful candidate will support the loading and unloading of paint supplies and related materials, maintain an organized storage environment, and assist the logistics team in delivering products to customers and branch offices.
The role operates on a full‑time schedule, Monday through Saturday, with standard working hours from 08:00 to 16:00. Shift work may be required during peak periods to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, including paint cans, solvents, and ancillary materials, from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Arrange and tidy inventory in the warehouse according to established placement standards and labeling systems.
- Support the receipt, storage, and issuance processes by verifying documentation and updating inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organized warehouse environment, adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Conduct visual inspections of incoming and stored items to ensure they remain undamaged and in usable condition.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to prepare shipments for outbound distribution to customers, retail branches, or construction sites.
- Participate in periodic stock counts and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory issues to supervisors promptly.
- Help implement continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at reducing handling time and minimizing product loss.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics operations; experience with paint or hazardous material handling is a plus.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong sense of discipline, honesty, and accountability.
- Excellent teamwork skills while also being capable of working independently when required.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule during busy periods.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian for reading shipping documents; computer literacy for inventory software is advantageous.
- Positive attitude, good communication, and a commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
