Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, specialty drinks, and mocktails, in accordance with Accor’s quality standards.
- Maintain an organized bar station, ensuring all tools, glassware, and ingredients are stocked, cleaned, and ready for service.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and place orders to prevent shortages while minimizing waste.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, reconcile tabs, and ensure proper billing procedures.
- Provide attentive, friendly, and timely service to guests, responding to special requests, dietary restrictions, and personalized drink preferences.
- Uphold strict hygiene and safety protocols, including proper storage of perishable items, adherence to alcohol service regulations, and routine sanitization of the bar area.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, front‑of‑house teams, and other departments to ensure seamless service flow, especially during peak periods.
- Address guest feedback and resolve service challenges professionally, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
- Assist in training new team members, sharing best practices, and fostering a supportive, high‑performance work culture.
- Participate in regular performance reviews, contribute ideas for menu innovation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- At least 1–3 years of professional bartending experience, preferably within an upscale hotel or resort environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential, and good English (spoken and written) is a distinct advantage.
- Well‑groomed appearance, professional demeanor, and a genuine guest‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting and remain composed under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional evening hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Detail‑oriented, responsible, proactive, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Leadership potential for supervisory or managerial tracks is highly valued.
- Demonstrated knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, mixology trends, and responsible alcohol service practices.
